Long layered hair, as shown below, can look great.  The style shown features very long layers, starting about ear level and going to the ends.  The bangs are full and side swept.

Some ends are curling up and some are curling under.  This style may require the use of appliances such as a blow dryer and a large round brush.  Apply a styling cream throughout the hair and blow dry using the round brush to direct some layers under and some out.

Once the hair is dry, use your fingers to position and shape the hair.  To create the shiny look, apply a shine serum, or a product that contains silicone, to the hair.
